Bomb attack kills 15 participants of Pakistan wedding ceremony

Islamabad : A bomb blast at a wedding ceremony killed at least 15 people in Pakistan’s troubled Swat valley on Friday, reports said.

The bomb was exploded near a double-cabin vehicle near the town of Matta, killing participants of the marriage ceremony, TV channels reported.

Most of those killed are reported to be children.

There is unconfirmed report that bride was also among those killed in the deadly blast.

Motives behind the blast were not clear.

There was no claim of responsibility.

TV channels reported that a check post of security forces is located near the blast site.

The town of Matta has seen suicide attacks on security forces in recent months as army is engaged in operation against militants in the area.
