Islamabad : Pakistan Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has initiated investigations to probe the alleged smuggling of as many as 40 Pakistanis from Hala and Tando Adam (Sindh) to Iran for forced labour, Additional Director General FIA Mirza Yasin said.
Talking to Express News he said, culprits responsible to allure innocent people to go abroad for minting money would not be spared.
A FIA team has already reached Hala and Tando Adam to investigate from four people who managed to flee from Iran.
After completing the inquiry Iranian authorities would be contacted through concerned departments and release of 36 Pakistanis would be sought, he said.
Now a days human smugglers are using land route for their detestable crime as it is impossible to fully guard long Pak-Iran borders, he added.
