Sydney : Sachin Tendulkar broke his nervous 90 jinx and made an unbeaten 154 to guide India to 532 and take a 69-run first innings lead in reply to Australia’s score of 463 on the third day of the second Test match at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) here Friday.
En route to his 38th Test ton, Tendulkar was ably supported, first by his overnight partner Sourav Ganguly, who made a solid 67 of 78 balls and then by tail enders – off-spinner Harbhajan Singh (63 of 92 balls) and last wicket Ishant Sharma who made valuable 23 runs off 34 balls.
