Gaza : Saladin Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC), claimed responsibility for firing a rocket Friday morning at the Israeli settlement of Zikim.
In a press release, the brigades said a “Nasser III” rocket was fired at the Israeli site that was built on Palestinian territories occupied in 1948.
“The Zionist enemy” admitted that the rocket hit a military site in Zikim, it added.
The brigades stressed that the attack was to avenge continuous Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip and the West Bank, emphasizing that resistance was the best way to liberate the occupied Palestinian territories.
