Abu Dhabi : UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has instructed the allocation of USD 9 millions for three United Nations humanitarian and development bodies in support of their humanitarian efforts as well as in recognition of their role in helping out Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
The amount will be equally distributed to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Relief and Works for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
