Gaza : Another five persons died and the same number were wounded in an Israeli air strike in Gaza Strip on Thursday, bringing the number Palestinians killed in the last few hours to 24.
Three members of the same family, two brothers and a 13-year-old boy died and three others were wounded when their vehicle was hit by a missile launched by the Israeli warplanes in eastern Gaza.
A military spokesperson said in Tel Aviv that the action was not intentional since the missile was targeting another vehicle in which Jihad Islamic members were allegedly travelling.
The other two Palestinians died in similar circumstances on Wednesday night near the Al Bureij refugee camp, in which another three persons resulted wounded.
With the recent deaths, 24 Palestinians have been killed and over 50 wounded between Tuesday and Wednesday, as a result of the deadliest attack of the Israeli Defense Forces against Gaza Strip in the last few months.
The Palestine National Authority Thursday declared three days of mourning and a general strike for the deaths, killings that were condemned by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and ex Prime Minister Ismael Haniyeh.
