Nazran, Russia : Police say three officers have been killed and four kidnapped in separate attacks in the southern province of Ingushetia, according to a report of the Associated Press.
The local Interior Ministry says militants attacked several villages and police stations in the tiny province west of Chechnya.
It said Wednesday that militants killed three policemen and kidnapped three others along with their vehicles in the village of Muzhichi.
Another police officer has been kidnapped in the town of Sunzha.
