Tehran : The Iranian Government expressed its willingness to talk with every nation around the world, while other official sources pleaded for promoting cooperation to maintain peace and stability in the region.
Spokesman for the Executive Gholam-Hossein Elham said that “the time to use an egoistic, domineering discourse is over. Such a discourse cannot be applied to a great power like Iran.”
In remarks to journalists on Tuesday, the spokesman added that the Islamic Republic has become a determining factor in the region and the whole world; therefore, “the world needs Iran.”
Elham referred to an eventual dialogue between the US and his country as a general rapprochement for which necessary conditions must be created.
Leader of the Majlis (Islamic Parliament of Iran), Ali Lariyani, reiterated that this nation is ready to any kind of cooperation to preserve security and stability in the area.
