Blasts targeting music shops seriously wound three in Pakistan

Islamabad : At least three people were critically wounded in explosions targeting music shops in northern Pakistan on Wednesday, said police.

A time-bomb ripped through a music and video shop in the main bazaar of Kohat town, about 150 kilometers north of Islamabad, police sources told KUNA.

They said the explosion critically wounded three people and badly destroyed the shop.

It also caused damage to several nearby shops, they added.

Separately, bomb explosions targeted music shops in Pakistani tribal agency, destroying over 18 shops and business centers.

Media reports said the a bomb explosion in the main market of Miramshah, the main city of North Waziristan tribal agency, destroyed more than 18 music shops.

Also, unknown militants fired several rockets at vital government installations in Mohmand tribal agency, bordering Afghanistan.

Media reports said that militants fired several rockets at government buildings in the Ghalni area of the agency but there was no human loss reported.
