Fool-proof security for foreigners in Pakistani capital

Islamabad : A. Rehman Malik, advisor to the Pakistani prime minister on interior has directed the Islamabad administration and police to make fail-safe security arrangements for all diplomatic missions, international organizations, foreign personnel and foreign assets.

The official APP news agency Saturday reported that Malik also directed them to carry out an immediate appraisal of security arrangements of all such missions, important buildings and installations and beef up the security with immediate effect.

The PM advisor was chairing a high level meeting at the interior ministry late Friday night. The meeting took stock of over all prevalent law and order situation in Islamabad, the Pakistani capital.
