By Xinhua,
Gaza : Egyptian government will invite Palestinian factions for inter-Palestinian dialogue in Cairo this week or next week at maximum, Palestinian sources said on Monday.
The dialogue will focus on reforming the Palestinian security services, rebuilding the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO)and forming a new Palestinian government, the sources added.
The sources said there is a trend among the Palestinian factions to exclude the parliamentary elections issue from the talks because Hamas, which won the last elections, still has one and half year in office.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas of Fatah decided to go ahead with talks with Hamas which ousted his movement and routed his forces during Gaza fighting last year.
Hamas accepted the call since the dialogue will be held while Hamas keeps its grip on Gaza.
