OPEC crude price jumps above $130

Vienna : The price for crude oil produced by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) jumped by more than $2 Monday, rising above $130 dollars for the third time this month, data released by OPEC showed Tuesday.

One barrel (159 litres) of OPEC-produced crude stood at $130.70 a barrel Monday, up $2,14 dollars from $128.56 on the previous day.

OPEC calculates an average basket price based on 13 important brands produced by cartel members.
