Philippines Typhoon Leaves 155 Dead

Manila : The number of dead people caused by Fengshen Typhoon in the Philippines went up to 155 and there are 27 disappeared people since the course of the typhoon Sunday.

Most of the deaths occurred in the province of Iloilo (101), meanwhile the rest was registered in Romblon, Cotabato, Antique and Capiz, said Richard Gordon, president of the National Red Cross

Gordon said the number of dead people reported up to now did not give precise information on the deceased or disappeared people in the ferry sunk in the central zone of the Filipino ocean territory.

Four dead people and three survivors from the sinking of the ferry are confirmed.

The floods in Iloilo determined the evacuation of 30,000 people.
