Bravo, who was given lbw by umpire Asad Rauf off Michael Clarke Tuesday, stood his ground before leaving the field shaking his head in disbelief.

The penalty was handed down by match referee Roshan Mahanama following a hearing after the match which Australia won by 84 runs.

The all-rounder was charged under clause 1.3 of the International Cricket Council (ICC) code of conduct.

“There was a lengthy delay until Dwayne Bravo finally departed the crease when given out. When the umpire’s finger goes up, the batsman must go without delay regardless of what he thinks of the decision,” said Mahanama.
