Deccan Chargers, Kings XI fined for slow over rate

New Delhi : Deccan Chargers and Kings XI Punjab were fined $1,000 for slow over rate for the game played in Hyderabad Thursday in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

While announcing the decision Friday, IPL chairman and commissioner Lalit Modi said that any team bowling a slow over rate would be fined $500 per over, which would be decided by the match referee.
