Kuwait : Second constituency candidate Mohammad Al-Hajri underscored the need to support those with special needs and to equate them with the physically able in terms of rights and responsibilities.
Speaking at the inauguration of his campaigning headquarters in Doha Friday evening, he said there was a need to place the requirements of those with special needs on the agenda of the government and parliament.
There are 23,000 Kuwaitis with special needs, and families alone are bearing the financial and social burden, he said.
He also called for improving health services, reviewing the interest policy on loans, and assisting citizens with debts.
