Islamabad : Pakistani and Indian foreign ministers began talks here Wednesday with expectations to sign a number of important agreements.
Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmud Qureshi and his Indian counterpart Pranab Mukherjee opened talks at the foreign ministry, a day after Foreign Secretary level talks were held. Talks began after the Indian Foreign Minister held meeting with President Pervez Musharraf and discussed bilateral affairs. According to the media reports, the president in the meeting urged the two sides to work for progress in the talks over the Kashmir issue.
