Moscow : Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov met on Wednesday with his Mongolian counterpart in Ulan Bator, the Mongolian capital, to discuss military cooperation between the two countries, a Defense Ministry spokesman said.
“The Russian defense minister said that all the objective preconditions existed for expanding military and defense cooperation between our countries,” Col. Alexei Kuznetsov said.
On Tuesday, a Russian-Mongolian defense cooperation program for 2008-2012 was signed in Moscow.
Mongolian President Nambaryn Enkhbayar paid a working visit to Moscow on May 15-18 to meet with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.
