Tehran : Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said on Wednesday that Tehran continues its cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) just like other members, Iran’s Press TV satellite channel reported.

“Iran is continuing its cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, as a signatory to the nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty, just like an ordinary IAEA member,” Mottaki was quoted as saying after a cabinet meeting.

“Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities, talks and meetings continue to follow their natural course,” Mottaki said, adding that Tehran does not find “any specific part” of the recently released IAEA report on its nuclear program negative.

However, the latest IAEA report, which was prepared by IAEA Director General Mohamed ElBaradei and circulated Monday evening to the UN Security Council and the IAEA Board of Governors, still showed serious concern on the nuclear programs of Iran, according to media reports in Vienna.

So far the report has not been published. According to media in Vienna, the draft report, which was a development on the report published on Feb. 22, said Iran did not offer enough explanation on some problems, especially those ranged over high explosives testing and the missile re-entry vehicle project as well as uranium-related components.

The draft report is to be discussed on the meeting of IAEA Board of Governors in Vienna slated for June 2-6.

Mottaki rejected the notion that the EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana was visiting Tehran to present a final offer.

He said Iran’s package, which has been presented to various international organizations and world leaders, has created a “new atmosphere” for negotiation on regional and international matters, adding that Iran has always shown that it is part of the “solution, not the problem.”

Iran’s package proposes solutions to global challenges in the fields of democracy, energy, security, and economic cooperation, Press TV said.

The package also includes new suggestions on the peaceful use of nuclear energy throughout the world, it added.
