Palestinian militants fired a rocket at the Israeli state on Monday, although no one was reported hurt and there was no damage.

“After the rocket fire against Israel, Defense Minister Ehud Barak held consultations with security bodies and decided to leave border crossings closed on Tuesday,” the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

Israel allowed humanitarian aid and fuel on Monday, only the second time in 20 days, through three border crossings into Gaza, which aid agencies say is on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe.
