Ghaziabad : Six school children were killed Thursday afternoon when a speeding train ran over them at a railway track here.
The incident took place around 2 p.m. while the school kids were crossing the rail tracks near Ramprastha locality, in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh, adjoining the national capital Delhi.
The children were crushed by the Guwahati-Rajdhani superfast train which they failed to see approaching.
The critically injured children were rushed to a nearby hospital where they were declared brought dead.
