Ahmedabad : Gujarat’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Sunday concluded a three-day brainstorming session, with all its legislators and senior leaders discussing a series of issues including terrorism.
“Regular classes of one-hour duration were conducted by national leaders like Arun Jaitley, Arun Shourie, M. Venkaiah Naidu and and Chief Minister Narendra Modi. All 116 MLAs (barring Speaker Ashok Bhatt) attended the classes,” Gujarat BJP vice president and ex-MP Haribhai Chaudhary said.
“Terrorism, the UPA (United Progressive Alliance) government’s policies and the campaign for the state’s anti-terror act, Gujarat Control of Organised Crime (Gujcoc) Act, were the focus of the Chintan Shibir,” he said.
The outcome of the session, held at the Water Park in Mehsana, will be discussed at an organizational meeting in Gandhinagar Monday.
