This orientation programme was attended by about two hundreds students. Speaking on the occasion, the president of Zakat Foundation of India Dr. Syed Zafar Mahmood motivated the youths especially the Muslim youths to prepare for the civil services examinations. He also gave tips about the finer points on how to crack the competitive examinations.

According to Dr. Syed Zafar Mahmood the one of the chief reasons behind the multidimensional backwardness of the Muslim in India and most of their issues is that Muslims are not found in the higher administrative posts.
