Bhubaneswar: Orissa’s Deputy Director of Mines (Safety) K.K. Sharma was Saturday found dead in the guest house of the Mahanadi Coalfields in the state’s Brajrajnagar district. Police suspect he committed suicide.
Sharma’s body was found hanging from the ceiling fan of the IB Valley guest house of the Mahanadi Coalfields, where he had come Friday for an inspection.
“We suspect he committed suicide,” Brajrajnagar superintendent of police Kabita Jalan said.
