New Delhi : A 22-year-old student of Delhi University’s Kirori Mal College was found hanging in her hostel room, police said Monday.
Ritveja Singh, a third year student of the college, was found hanging in her room in a private hostel in Mukherjee Nagar area in north Delhi, a police official said.
According to police, Ritveja’s body was badly decomposed and she might have died at least two days back.
“Some hostel students informed the warden about a foul smell coming out of the girl’s room. The warden informed the police, who broke open the door and found her hanging. She hails from Patna in Bihar,” the officer said.
Police have recovered a suicide note from the room in which the student claimed that she was ending her life as nobody liked her.
