New Delhi: Strings, the popular music group from Pakistan, will enthrall Delhi audiences along with Afflatus, an all-girls band from Shillong, and other bands from the South Asian region at a festival this week.
The Dec 11-13 festival is being held to promote cultural ties among South Asian countries. It is organised by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).
Afflatus will perform Dec 11 at the Purana Quila, followed by Half step down and Faridkot from Delhi, Nagarbaul and James from Bangladesh, Strings from Pakistan and end with a grand finale by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy Dec 13.
Bands like Kabul Dreams from Afghanistan and Emperor from Myanmar will also participate.
