SIO represents Indian Muslim youth at International conf. in Istanbul

New Delhi: The Students Islamic Organization of India (SIO) represented Indian Muslim youth and students at the International Youth Forum held in Istanbul, Turkey. The 4th International conference on Cultural Cooperation among Muslim Youth on the title ‘Towards Common Goal for a New World’ was organized by the International Youth Forum from 15th to 17th July.

Suhail K.K, National President, SIO of India addressed the conference introducing the activities of SIO in India. He also presented a paper on ‘Content of education in a secular country’. The activities of SIO were appreciated at the forum.

The program was attended by the Islamic leader in Turkey, Najmuddin Erbakan, Prof. Dr. Numan Kurtulmuş (President of Sa’adet Party), Aboobacker Abdul Fatah (Secretary General, IIFSO), Sheikh Mohammed Mustafa Al Tahhan (President, SOU) Rajai Kotai (Former President of Saadet Party). Two hundred delegates from seventy five countries participated in the conference.

The conference declared that the Muslims all round the world must unite for a common cause – Creating a new world. A new world based on the principles of “Not war, but peace; Not conflict, but dialogue; Not double standards, but Justice; Not arrogance, but equality; Not exploitation, but cooperation; Not oppression and hegemony, but human rights, freedom” will unite their political and economic powers and will bring the peace, prosperity and justice on the earth through “A New World” which will be founded on an understanding depending on Haq-Truth.
