Cabinet session starts in Orumiyeh

Orumiyeh, West Azarbaijan Prov : A cabinet session attended by Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and a number of ministers as well as provincial officials is being held in Orumiyeh, the capital city of the northwestern West Azarbaijan Province Thursday.

The session is due to review the proposed bills on development in the province of West Azarbaijan.

The cabinet members are also to follow up the implementation of the projects that had been approved during the first round of the cabinet’s provincial visits.

President Ahmadinejad along with his cabinet members departed for West Azarbaijan Province on Wednesday morning to start his 53rd visit to the country’s provinces during the second round of the provincial tours.

He has made pledges on drafting several bills on building 11 universities, creating 42 tourist centers, launching 33 industrial projects and establishing sports clubs in the province.

The Iranian president will leave West Azarbaijan Province for Tehran tonight.
