“There is a limit to tolerance. Advani has been attacking Manmohan Singh on a personal level,” the minister said, as he arrived here to campaign for the Lok Sabha polls April 16.

A war of words broke out Tuesday between the prime minister and Advani. While Manmohan Singh challenged the BJP leader’s ability to be prime minister, Advani hit back by again calling him weak.

“Over the years, Advani has been attacking prime ministers.”

Advani also criticised Indira Gandhi, said the senior Congress leader.

Ravi expressed confidence that the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance will retain power at the centre and reiterated that Manmohan Singh will prime minister.

“We are certain that we will return (to power) because of our performance in the last five years,” said Ravi.
