Napier : India lost the important wicket of Sachin Tendulkar (49) in the first session of the third day and were at lunch 189 for four in reply to New Zealand’s first-innings score of 619 for nine declared in the second cricket Test here at McLean Park Saturday.
Tendulkar was caught at slip by Ross Taylor off off-spinner Jeetan Patel and at the break, Rahul Dravid was batting on 57 and V.V.S. Laxman 21.
