New Delhi : The capital woke up to a pleasant morning Monday with a cool breeze blowing after brief thundershowers during the weekend. Delhiites have reason to cheer as the weatherman has predicted more rain for the city.
Delhi received 11.2 mm rainfall Sunday that brought down the minimum temperature to 20.6 degrees Celsius, four degrees below average for this time of the year.
“A western disturbance in Jammu and Kashmir and a cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan brought rain to the capital. Delhi and neighbouring areas are likely to witness thundershowers during the day as the western disturbance still prevails over the region,” an official at Safdarjung meteorological office told IANS.
