Jamil Bugti wants the complaint to be registered against Musharraf, former prime minister Shaukat Aziz, former Balochistan governor Owais Ahmed Ghani, former Balochistan chief minister Jam Mohammad Yousuf and former interior minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao, Dawn website reported Tuesday.

He said in the petition that all these individuals had played an important role in the killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti.

He asked the court to direct the authorities to register an FIR against them.

Earlier, Jamil Bugti’s petition was rejected by the district and sessions judge Sep 4.

The sessions judge rejected the petition on the grounds that the incident had taken place in Kohlu, not in Dera Bugti.

Akbar Bugti, who was killed in an explosion in a cave at Kohlu in 2006, had led a campaign to win more autonomy for the sprawling but economically backward Balochistan region.
