New Delhi: National Human Rights Commission has asked the Delhi Government to take action against the malicious MRDA survey on Muslim youths in the country. The rights watchdog issued relevant instruction to Chief Secretary of Delhi Government acting on a complaint from eminent journalist Wadood Sajid.
Sajid had complained that survey company MDRA was conducting a survey on Muslim youths with 20 objectionable and communal questions. Informed by Sajid, TCN was the first media to break the news about the malicious survey in June 2010.

The questions were set in a way to implicate Indian Muslims in terrorism.
MDRA survey on Muslim youth
Sajid had written a letter to Prime Minister also urging him to order a high-level enquiry into the
malicious survey to find out the forces behind the survey. He had expressed sorrow at all-time-
ready-for-statement Muslim leaders being silent on the issue Asst Registrar (Law) of NHRC has written Sajid a letter (SB-2/OC/2010/0/30/2807) informing
him that his complaint was put before the commission on August 16. After deliberation the
commission decided to forward the complaint to Chief Secretary of Delhi for proper legal action.
