The national capital recorded a minimum of 22.2 degrees, six notches below normal for this time of the season.

The met department has forecast clear skies and rise in day temperature. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 35 degrees.

The maximum temperature Tuesday settled at 26.9 degrees, 14 degrees below average and lowest in several years. The capital recorded 0.8 mm rainfall.

“There was a cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan because of which there were rains in Delhi. However, the circulation has now weakened, therefore, no rain is expected in coming days,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
