Berlin : Hundreds of visibly angry demonstrators, among them Turks and Arabs, protested outside the Israeli embassy in Berlin Monday, after Israeli navy attacked the flotilla of ships taking aid to Gaza.
Draped in Turkish and Palestinian flags, protesters chanted “down with Israel”
and “children and women killer Israel” as scores of riot police kept a vigil eye on the scene.
Demonstrators voiced also outrage over German financial support for the Zionist regime.
Israel’s diplomatic missions around the world became the target of protests in the aftermath of an early morning Israeli raid on a fleet of boats carrying 700 pro-Palestinian peace activists and 10,000 tons of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, in which dozens of people were killed and injured.
