Power cut in Sindh chief minister’s house

Islamabad : The chief minister’s house in Pakistan’s Sindh province went dark Sunday night although it is exempt from power cuts.

“Yes, we are without electricity,” Dawn quoted an official at Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah’s house as saying. This happened at about 9 p.m. Sunday

The chief minister’s and governor’s houses as well as other key are exempt from loadshedding.

Pakistan’s power shortfall has now reached 5,000 megawatts. The country is generating 13,240 MWs against a peak demand of 18,065 MWs.
