“We are shocked and express our sympathy with the victim’s family. Those who are behind this act should be given strong punishment. Killing innocent persons is not justified and it is a barbaric act. Those behind this act do not belong to any religion,” said Imam-e-Juma, Maulana Kalbe Jawwad.

Naib Imam, Tile Wali Masjid, Maulana Abdul Mannan Waizi too decried the serial bomb blast in Mumbai. “It is attack on our country and we all stand united with our countrymen. Those who have executed this act should be dealt strongly. We cannot just keep on sitting with these recurring blasts. The government should now act and the culprits including those who are the master mind should be punished,” said
Maulana Waizi.

Spokesperson, All India Shia Personal Law Board (AISPLB), Maulana Yasoob Abbas termed it as a terrorist attack while condemning the blasts. “We all are deeply shocked by the incident. It is a terrorist attack and government should take stringent measures against those who are behind this crime,” said Maulana Abbas.

The clerics also joined in stating that anyone behind this barbaric act cannot be true to one’s religion. “No religion allows blood shed and that too of innocent people. They have nothing to do with religion and terrorism is denounced in every sect. We are with our countrymen in this hour of crisis and stand united against this terror attack,” said Maulana Abdul Mannan Waizi.
