Bhopal: A two-day national seminar on ‘Management of Waqf Board properties’ was inaugurated by Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board Chairman Mr. Ghufran Azam here at R.C.V.P. Naronha Academy of Administration on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, Waqf Board Chairman Mr. Ghufran Azam said that the Waqf is not related to religion of Muslims but it is a social work. He lauded the efforts for holding a seminar on management of Waqf Board properties. He said that awareness could be created among the common people of properties of Waqf through the seminar.

At the outset, Coordinator Dr. Mohammed Najmi threw light on the objectives of holding the seminar. He said that the social, economic and educational targets could be achieved through such seminars that will make people aware of the importance of Waqf properties. Besides Madhya Pradesh, Waqf Board officials from Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Punjab and Uttarakhand are taking part in the seminar.
