Islamabad : Cricket mania in Islamabad reached its peak Wednesday when the country’s apex court concluded its official work at noon and special arrangements were made to watch the World Cup semifinal match between India and Pakistan.
The Supreme Court administration made arrangements to show the match to the judges and other staff members on a big screen, Daily Times reported.
The apex court is otherwise known for its “strict attitude” with regard to the profession, the daily said.
However, it made an exception Wednesday and decided to put a big screen in the court auditorium to entertain the judges and staff with the live broadcast of the match.
