By TCN News,

New Delhi: Delhi police has released sketches of the two suspects, who were supposedly behind the bomb blast outside the Delhi high court on Wednesday morning. The powerful bomb which was reportedly left in a briefcase at the gate number 5 of the Delhi high court, exploded at around 10:15 am and claimed 11 people, leaving more than 62 people injured.

The sketches are based on the account of two eye witnesses. Importantly at the time of the blast there were more than 200 people, standing at the gate, waiting for their turn, to get their pass made, so that they could access the HC. Reportedly a man of more then fifty years of age came and left the bomb in a brief case.

Importantly a terror group named as Harkat-ul-Jihadi (HuJI), has taken the responsibility for the blast. In an email sent to the media, couple of hours after the blast, the group said the blast was carried out to press the government to repeal death sentence of Mohammed Afzal Guru.

Sent from the mail id [email protected], the content of the mail says, “We owe the responsibility of today’s blasts at High Court Delhi… our demand is that Afzal Guru’s death sentence should be repealed immediately else we would target major high courts and the Supreme Court of India.”

National Investigation Agency chief SC Sinha, however, said it was premature to comment on the veracity of the HuJI email. He, however, said NIA was taking the contents of the email seriously.
