New Delhi : Uttar Pradesh recorded over 100 fake gun battles from 2008 to Feb 15, 2012, the Rajya Sabha was informed Wednesday.
In a written reply, Minister of State for Home Affairs Jitendra Singh said that 41 cases were registered in the state in 2008-09, 30 in 2009-10, 40 in 2010-11 and 19 in 2011-12.
At 51, Manipur reported the second most number of cases.
