Bhopal : The Van Vihar National Park here will organise programmes to mark “World Sparrow Day” Tuesday.
These will include a painting competition for school students and discussions. The objective of the programmes is to create awareness about conservation of sparrow species, an official said.
The sparrow’s numbers have declined sharply in recent times.
