“Creation of internal demand via use of technology, tapping the population which needs a product and has the ability to purchase, are all essential to impart inclusive growth in the country,” Dutt said at an interactive programme organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce here.

Observing “the lack of universal access of commodities” as a major impediment, Dutt emphasised on the need for ‘Right to Access’.

“It is indeed essential to ensure empowerment across different tiers of the population. Empowerment across different levels of the population would allow them to select the choice being offered to the individuals,” he said.

He also batted for good governance in the country.

“Good governance, both corporate and social, assembled with inclusive growth would ensure good democracy. Alongside, it is essential to maintain and uplift the quality of democracy,” he said.

He also hoped that with good democracy and healthy trade relations with neighbouring countries, the glory of the country would be far-reached in the days to come.
