Gurgaon : Four people were mowed down by an unknown vehicle on the Delhi-Gurgaon expressway late Monday night. Two people died on the spot while the other two were battling for their lives in hospital, police said Tuesday.
Vidhya Mandal, Kala Mandal, and Vaibhav worked in a private company at Behrampur industrial area on Delhi-Jaipur National Highway near Khandsa. Vidhya and Kala died, while Vaibhav and another unidentified youth are battling for their lives in hospital.
“They were going to their rented homes near Aanaj Mandi from office Monday late night. While crossing the expressway, they were mowed down by an unknown vehicle at Hero Honda Chowk,” said a police officer.
Police have filed a case of death due to rash and negligent driving.
All the victims are from a village in Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh.
