Kolkata : Three people were killed and at least 18 others injured when a bus fell into a canal in West Bengal’s South 24 Parganas district Sunday, police said.
The accident took place in Gangadharpur, when the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree, after which the bus fell into the canal.
Three of the injured are said to be in serious condition.
