New Delhi: The Department of Hindi, Jamia Millia Islamia in collaboration with National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL) is going to organize a two-day National Symposium as part of Asghar Ali Engineer Memorial Lecture on “Hindi-Urdu Kavita ka Samkaleen Paridrishya” on February 25-26, 2014.
The Inaugural Function of the symposium is scheduled to be held on February 25, 2014 at 10 AM in the Conference Hall of FTK-Centre for Information Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia.
The Welcome Address shall be delivered by Prof. Durga Prasad Gupta of Department of Hindi, Jamia Millia Islamia. Prof. Namwar Singh shall be the Chief Guest of the programme while Prof. G.P. Sharma shall attend the function as Distinguished Guest. Farhat Ahsas shall address the audience in his Key-note Address on this occasion. Prof. Shamim Hanfi shall Chair the Inaugural Function of the programme.
