Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University has been awarded the highest “A” grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for the second time. MANUU secured 3.09 CGPA points in the second cycle.
Dr. Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz, Vice-Chancellor in his message has congratulated the students, teachers and staff for this mega achievement. The only university in the country providing higher education through Urdu Medium has withstood different tests and evaluation to come out with flying colours. This is no mean achievement, he remarked. “Award of “A” grade to MANUU also indicates that Urdu as a medium of instruction is second to none,” the Vice-Chancellor, he added.
Earlier this month, the University had also announced that it would offer Ph.D. and M.Phil programmes in 17 different departments along with a program called “Bridge Course” to integrate madrasa pass outs into mainstream education at undergraduate level.
