Mufti Mohammad Sayeed condemns Mumbai attacks

Srinagar: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Patron, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed has expressed shock and grief over the demise of former Prime Minister V P Singh.

“Singh’s death is no only a national loss, but a personal loss for me as he was a colleague and a friend,” Sayeed said in a statement today. He said Singh was a champion for the cause of downtrodden and weaker communities of the society and worked tirelessly for their welfare throughout his life.

Sayeed has expressed heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family.

Meanwhile, the PDP Patron has condemned the gruesome attacks in Mumbai in which scores of innocent lives were lost. He said such gory acts are not only outrageous but inhuman as well. He said these are the worst kind of reprehensible acts of terror against humanity by the perpetrators.

Sayeed has expressed sympathies with all those families whose near and dear ones became the victims of these senseless acts of violence.
