New Delhi : Former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Tuesday called for developing “positive counter-terrorism methods” to eliminate the scourge.
“India must have positive counter-terrorism methods so that we can end terrorism once for all,” he told reporters on the sidelines of the Lockheed Martin India Innovation Growth Programme (IIGP) here.
“If evil minds combine, good minds have to cooperate and combat them,” Kalam added.
Asked whether India should take action against Pakistan if its links with the Mumbai terror attacks were proved, Kalam said: “It is for the Indian leadership to decide what we want to do.”
IIGP, a joint initiative of Lockheed Martin, industry lobby FICCI, the Department of Science and Technology, Texas University and India-US Science and Technology Forum, enables Indian innovators market their technologies and ideas.
