“The allegations by the Congress MP Gandhi against Chhattisgarh for misuse of central funds lack facts,” Singh told a press conference at the state’s northern city Ambikapur.

Singh made the statement in response to Gandhi’s allegations at elections rallies in the state, March 31 and April 7, accusing the state government of misusing the funds provided by the Congress-led central government under several welfare projects.

Singh claimed his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would win all the 11 seats in the state.

Chhattisgarh goes to polls April 16. In the 2004 Lok Sabha polls, the BJP had bagged 10 seats while the Congress won just one.
